Fall on the River at South Toledo Bend State Park

The weekend was gorgeous with perfect weather, great friends, delicious food, and terrific atmostphere. Three cabins were rented and all were occupied, while not to full capacity, the group was a good size. Cheryl and Tommy Turner along with their nephews were joined by Kay and Matt Dunaway, Kristin and Lloyd Shirley, Fritz Wise,Sandra and Paul Laurents, Lorinda Rountree and Bill Modica and Phil Rogers and his Daughter Zia. The food consisted of a Honey Glazed Ham, Sweet Potatoes, Potatoes Au Gratin, Turnip Greens, Salad, Beans and Bean Casserole, Cheese cake and Italian cream cake. There was music from Lorinda, Bill and Matt along with card games, hikes, bike rides and a paddle on the lake as well as stories and a lot of good fun.
